Demelza Marlin (PhD) is an research and educator of Wiradjuri and Anglo-Celtic descent with ancestral ties to the Bogan River in western NSW.
Demelza has a PhD in Sociology from UNSW and diverse teaching and research experience across the fields of Aboriginal health, cultural competence, workforce development, anti-racism, Indigenous sport studies and relational sociology. She uses a range of methods and methodologies including Indigenous and relational methodologies, deep listening and narrative practices, systematic review and survey design. She has experience in program evaluation using the Ngaa-bi-nya Aboriginal evaluation framework. She is currently studying for her Masters of Social Work.
