Cancer Australia website

For most Australians, the survival rate for people with cancer is improving. But sadly, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the opposite is true – the survival rate is worsening.

As parts of its efforts to turn this around, Cancer Australia is developing a new website for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer and their families and friends. The work is being driven by a majority Aboriginal Expert Reference Group, and will be based on the Aboriginal understanding of health.

We completed writing the content for the site in June 2021. We’ll link to the site when it is u and running.
