CSIRO has established an Indigenous science grants program, which aims to support innovative Indigenous research projects that will have effects beyond CSIRO and benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. It provides funding to address priorities raised by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and to support Indigenous science knowledges, perspectives and voices.
Yulang evaluated year 1 of the project, and is currently evaluating the subsequent years.
